Head PGA Professional Garry Forrester is a very competent tournament player with a huge amount of competitive experience. Still competing on the PGA Scottish Region 'Tartan Tour', Garry in his more formative years was playing development tours alongside the likes of Ian Poulter before embarking on a career in coaching.
Why not take an experienced PGA round the course with you on your journey to playing better golf on the course. At times there is difficulty in making the transition, hitting the ball great on the range but not onto the golf course. Practicing on the range mostly is 90% technical thoughts and 10% mental thoughts. Playing the course is the opposite way round and there mostly lies the confusion.

The ideal course for novices is the Balgove Course, learning how to play the course, learning etiquette, rules of golf, working with and utilizing different golf clubs within the set. Progression to the Strathtyrum moving upwards in ability to the most iconic golf course in the world, The Old Course which provides a sterner test. That in mind, allowing an experienced Tournament PGA Professional to help you manage your way, strategizing and talking about your thoughts, shot decision making and execution is vital to improving your scores. Playing on course also very much helps your pro to see all parts of your game in working progress which will an accurate analysis of where/what to work on your game.
